A. Biography

​

Dr. Hung graduated from Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University (VNU) in 2001. After obtaining B.Sc., he has been working for Institute of Chemistry, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).  From 2004 until 2006, he worked as a researcher in designing and synthesizing the organic compounds applying in OLEDs in LG Electronics, Seoul, Korea. Thereafter, he pursued research on OLEDs material. He obtained Ph.D. degree in 2014 at the University of Rostock under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Peter Langer. Since then, he works in the field of site-selective Pd-catalyzed domino reaction in order to synthesize fused aromatic N-heterocycles applying OLED materials and bioactive compounds. On the other hand, he works in natural products isolation as well and research to make commercial finished product from valuable natural products in large scale.
